RainTPL 3 is stil in alpha, and it seems there is no documentation? I am wondering if it would be best to get started with the latest v2 or v3?

v2 to start, and as soon as v3 is ready you can upgrade in a simple flick of wrist! They have basically same template syntax!

Yes, RainTPL 3 require PHP 5.3 +, and we're waiting to complete RainCMS version 1 and the wiki module to start writing the documentation of RainTPL 3.
Thanks for your comments

Hi , just a new joiner.
I notice that the last post is in Sept 2012, is the development still in active progress ?
Thanks for your work.
From the speed test page we would like to try this simple but fast template.

I would like to see a possibility of choice to use a separate one class file of Rain 3. So like RainTPL 2 it was .... without any autoloading and framework stuff.
Just one class file to include in my own stuff.
For me the best choise is simplicity too.
(Not every User builds a bigger project and need overhead stuff.)
